I stumbled upon Sara’s work while doing research for my third book and I was fascinated. I am thrilled to have her on the show!

She and Linda Babcock subsequently wrote Ask for It, a nuts-and-bolts negotiation training primer for women struggling to overcome the barriers in their path. A highly sought-after speaker, Sara lectures and teaches workshops to corporate audiences, colleges and universities, law firms, government agencies, and women’s leadership conferences in the U.S. and around the world. A founding faculty member of the Carnegie Mellon Leadership and Negotiation Academy for Women and formerly a Senior Fellow at the Center for Work-Life Policy, Sara also worked as Research Associate and Principal Interviewer for Project Access, a trailblazing Harvard University study of the obstacles blocking women’s progress in the sciences.
